Lisi S.A. designs, manufactures and markets high-technology mechanical fastener systems and assembly components primarily for the aerospace, automotive and medical sectors worldwide; its core offerings encompass fasteners including screws, bolts, nuts and washers; clipped fastening solutions such as panel fasteners, clipped nuts and anti-creep rings; structural components like aircraft engine blades, landing gear and helicopter rotors; automotive braking systems, seating, safety and fuel components; and medical implants, reconstruction instruments and mini-invasive surgery tools including orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular and neuro-cerebral products under brands such as OPTIBLIND, TYX and RIB fittings. The company operates through three main divisions, LISI Aerospace, LISI Automotive and LISI Medical, with 42 production sites across Europe, North America and Asia; it serves major original equipment manufacturers in aeronautics, defense, passenger vehicles and medtech. Founded in 1777 and headquartered in Belfort, France, Lisi S.A. employs over 10,000 people and generates annual revenue of approximately €1.85 billion as of 2024. Recent major changes include the October 2025 sale of its LISI Medical division to SK Capital Partners, which was rebranded Precera Medical with Lisi retaining a nearly 10% minority stake to support future growth; the September 2025 acquisition by LISI Automotive Hungary of Polysemble Hungary assets to bolster automotive capabilities; divestiture of LISI Automotive Nomel SAS to ZB Invest in February 2025 as part of strategic refocusing; and ongoing investments in automation, capacity expansion and R&D representing about 6% of revenue for advanced fastening innovations.
