Business
Greatland Gold plc (GGP.L) is a London-listed mining company focused on the exploration, development and production of gold and copper deposits, primarily in the Paterson Province of Western Australia; its core assets include the 100% owned Telfer gold-copper mine, one of Australia's largest gold-copper mining complexes with established processing infrastructure; the 100% owned Havieron gold-copper project, a high-grade brownfield development located 45km east of Telfer that utilises Telfer's infrastructure for ore processing; and a portfolio of exploration projects targeting precious and base metals including gold, copper, nickel and cobalt across Western Australia. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in London at 6th Floor, 99 Gresham Street, the company operates as a leading Australian gold-copper producer and developer, serving global markets through the extraction, processing and sale of these metals. In December 2024, Greatland completed the acquisition of the remaining interests in Telfer and Havieron from Newmont, consolidating 100% ownership of both assets and establishing an integrated mining and processing operation; the company raised US$325 million in funding to support this transformative transaction and targets a dual listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in June 2025 while maintaining its AIM listing.
