Business
Globe International Limited designs, produces, and distributes purpose-built apparel, footwear, and skateboard hardgoods including decks, wheels, trucks, roller skates, inline skates, and related accessories for the boardsports, street fashion, outdoor, and workwear markets. The company markets proprietary brands such as Globe, Salty Crew, FXD Workwear, Impala Skate, DOT Boards, Milkbar Bikes, It's Now Cool, and X/DMG; licenses and distributes third-party brands including Stüssy, Obey, M/SF/T, XLarge, X-Girl, RAEN, CHIMI, SZADE, PRO-TEC, Blind, Almost, enjoi, Girl, Chocolate, Thrasher, and Lakai; and operates through six divisions encompassing Globe, Salty Crew, Impala Skate, Hardcore Distribution, 4Front, and FXD Workwear, with products sold directly, via third-party distributors, and branded retail stores in more than 70 countries across Australasia, North America, South America, and Europe. Founded in 1985 by three Australian brothers and headquartered in Port Melbourne, Australia, with key facilities in Los Angeles, Newport Beach, San Diego, Hossegor, and Shenzhen, the company recently launched electric skateboard products under DOT Boards toward the end of 2019, acquired the swimwear brand It's Now Cool and introduced Milkbar bikes in 2022, and held its 2025 annual general meeting on October 20, 2025.
