- Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), a subsidiary of PTT Public Company Limited, engages in the production and distribution of electricity, steam, industrial water, chilled water, and public utilities for industrial, government, and commercial customers primarily in Thailand with international investments. The company operates through segments including Independent Power Producer and Small Power Producer, generating power via solar, wind, hydropower, and thermal plants with a total committed equity capacity of 12,582 megawatts of electricity; 3,294 tons per hour of steam; 7,472 cubic meters per hour of industrial water; 15,400 refrigerated tons of chilled water; and 64 megawatts-hours of energy storage system battery capacity. In September 2025, GPSC acquired an additional 9.375% stake in Ratchaburi Power Plant Co., Ltd. (RPCL), an independent power producer, from JERA Group to expand its investment portfolio. In November 2025, GPSC, alongside GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. and partners, signed a joint venture agreement to establish a company focused on integrated data center solutions powered by renewable energy, advancing its low-carbon technology initiatives. These moves support GPSC's strategic shift toward sustainable energy expansion and vertical integration in renewables and decarbonization technologies.
