Glenmede Quantitative U.S. Large Cap Core Equity Portfolio (GTLIX) is an institutional share class of a mutual fund managed by Glenmede Investment Management LP that seeks maximum long-term total return consistent with reasonable risk to principal by investing at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities, such as common stocks, of large cap U.S. companies. The Portfolio employs proprietary multi-factor quantitative computer models to select undervalued stocks exhibiting strong fundamentals, rising earnings expectations, profitability measures, valuation ratios, and material environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria; it focuses on companies tied economically to the U.S., defined as those organized under U.S. laws, maintaining principal U.S. business operations, traded principally in the U.S., or included in S&P or FTSE Russell U.S. equity indexes at purchase, with market capitalizations generally within the Russell 1000 Index range. Large cap companies targeted span the blend style, blending growth and value characteristics through active trading to optimize returns while managing tax efficiency and downside risk. Glenmede Investment Management LP, the Portfolio's adviser and a subsidiary of The Glenmede Trust Company N.A., operates from headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the Trust Company originally founded in 1956 to manage family charitable trusts stemming from the Sun Oil founder Joseph N. Pew family. The Portfolio itself was incepted on February 27, 2004, with Institutional Shares (GTLIX) launched December 30, 2015, and is part of The Glenmede Fund, Inc., serving institutional investors including corporations, pension plans, endowments, and high-net-worth individuals through mutual funds, separate accounts, and collective vehicles. Assets under management for the Portfolio stood at approximately $707 million as of June 30, 2024, within Glenmede Investment Management's total of over $7 billion; the firm manages strategies across U.S. and international equities, fixed income, derivatives, and ESG-focused approaches for a global client base of institutions, advisors, and consultants. Portfolio management is led by Vladimir de Vassal, CFA, Director of Quantitative Research, and Paul T. Sullivan, CFA, Portfolio Manager, both involved since the Portfolio's 2004 inception, alongside Alexander R. Atanasiu, CFA, Portfolio Manager, since February 2018. The strategy maintains a portfolio turnover rate of 78% as of the most recent fiscal year, reflecting active trading to implement model-driven decisions. Recent updates include the release of an updated Summary Prospectus dated February 28, 2024, and ongoing 13F filings through 2025 disclosing portfolio adjustments, such as increased holdings in Marvell Technology (MRVL) and IDEX (IEX) shares alongside reductions in positions like Mitel Networks (MLAB) and Virtu Financial (VIRT) as of the Q3 2025 report period. Glenmede Investment Management continues to emphasize its quantitative U.S. large cap strategies, with related portfolios like the Quantitative U.S. Large Cap Growth Equity Portfolio (GTLLX) marking 20 years of operation as of February 2024 and earning Lipper Awards for consistent risk-adjusted performance. No major acquisitions, funding rounds, or strategic reorganizations specific to the Portfolio or firm were reported in the last 1-2 years, with focus remaining on refining multi-factor models amid market volatility.
