Business
Haemato AG is a Germany-based specialty pharmaceutical company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Schönefeld, Germany. The company operates primarily in the pharmaceutical and lifestyle & aesthetics sectors, supplying pharmacies, wholesalers, and clinics mainly in Germany and Austria. Its product portfolio includes prescription drugs and over-the-counter products focusing on high-priced therapies for chronic diseases across therapeutic areas such as HIV/AIDS, neurology, oncology, rheumatology, and ophthalmology. The pharmaceutical offerings comprise patent-protected medicines, biosimilars, generics, narcotic pharmaceuticals including cannabis products, and diagnostic tests. The lifestyle & aesthetics segment encompasses the development, manufacture, and distribution of proprietary brands, including medical cosmetics under its M1 SELECT label, alongside third-party products. Recently, Haemato AG completed the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary HAEMATO Pharm GmbH to the PHOENIX group, a leading European healthcare provider, marking a significant strategic operational shift aimed at focusing the company on drug and medical product trading and expanding its in-house development of innovative medical devices for the beauty market, with first product launches anticipated in the near future. Haemato employs over 60 staff and serves a customer base exceeding 7,000, emphasizing patient needs and healthcare cost reduction in its business model.
