The company operates globally with around 4,000 employees at 40 locations in 19 countries and is headquartered in Herisau, Switzerland. It was founded in 1864. In the last two years, Huber+Suhner has made significant strategic advances including the acquisition of UK-based Phoenix Dynamics Ltd. in 2022, which expanded its customizable electro-mechanical connectivity solutions portfolio and enhanced its presence in aerospace and defense markets. In 2025, the company opened a new advanced manufacturing site in Pisary, Poland, dedicated to large-scale production of POLATIS® optical circuit switches, enhancing capacity to meet growing demand from AI and hyperscale data centers. Huber+Suhner also continues to launch innovative high-performance microwave cable assemblies for test and measurement applications and new antenna products such as the SENCITY® PTC antenna to support safety in railway operations. Furthermore, the company emphasizes sustainability, reporting a 21% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions in 2024 and integrating sustainability into its business strategy. These developments strengthen Huber+Suhner's technology leadership and market positions worldwide.
