Business
Invicta Holdings Limited is a Johannesburg Stock Exchange-listed investment holding company that manages and optimizes a portfolio of industrial businesses focused on the supply and distribution of replacement parts, services and solutions for earth-moving equipment, industrial equipment, auto-agri applications and capital equipment. The group operates through five main divisions: Replacement Parts Earthmoving (RPE), which supplies after-market spare parts, ground engaging tools, undercarriage components and heavy-duty diesel engine parts for earthmoving, industrial and agricultural machinery worldwide, including via its Kian Ann Group (KAG) subsidiary as one of Asia's largest independent distributors of heavy machinery and diesel engine components for excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, trucks, trailers, power generation sets and marine engines, with manufacturing in China through Kensetsu; Replacement Parts Industrial (RPI), which distributes engineering consumables such as bearings, seals, gaskets, power transmission products, materials handling equipment, fasteners, geared and electric drives, fluid technology solutions including hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps, filtration, hoses and fittings, technical services, value-added assembly and bespoke manufacturing across a network of 108 branches and 107 vendor-managed inventory sites primarily in Africa; Replacement Parts Auto-Agri (RPA), which provides imported and locally sourced after-market automotive and agricultural replacement parts and kits through operations in South Africa, the United Kingdom, Spain, Poland and Ukraine; and capital equipment distribution including earthmoving and material handling equipment with original equipment manufacturer and replacement parts across Southern Africa. Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, Invicta maintains a geographic presence in 17 countries across five continents, including manufacturing in China and distribution in the United States, United Kingdom and Asia, targeting industries such as mining, agriculture, transportation and construction. In recent developments, Invicta completed the acquisition of UK-based Spaldings Group on 1 September 2025 for approximately R282 million, enhancing its global RPE segment through synergies in procurement, expanded product range and growth in after-market agricultural and ground care parts distribution in Britain and Europe; earlier acquisitions include UK-based Nationwide Bearing Company and KMP to bolster its replacement parts operations in Britain and North America.
