Business
Jacques Bogart S.A. designs, produces, manufactures, and distributes perfumes, cosmetics, and related beauty products worldwide through its integrated operations in fragrances, cosmetics, and beauty retail. The company markets fragrances under owned and licensed brands including Jacques Bogart, Carven Parfums, Ted Lapidus, Chevignon, Naf Naf, Rose et Marius, April, Close, Cousin.e.s, I Wanna Have, and Néo Cologne; cosmetics under Stendhal, Méthode Jeanne Piaubert, and April; and fashion items under Ted Lapidus Fashion. It operates a network of approximately 450 selective perfumeries and drugstores under the April de Grasse banner across France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Israel, UAE, and other regions, serving mass-market and selective distribution channels in over 90 countries. Founded in 1975 and headquartered at 13 Rue Pierre Leroux in Paris, France, the company functions as an independent family-owned group listed on Euronext Paris (JBOG.PA) with subsidiaries such as Parfums Ted Lapidus SAS, Stendahl SAS, and Carven Parfums SAS supporting its vertical integration from production in French factories to global retail. Recent developments include the 2024 acquisition of Rose et Marius, a haute parfumerie house in Aix-en-Provence, to bolster its prestige fragrance portfolio and support international expansion; ongoing restructuring of its store network in France, Germany, and Belgium to reduce fixed costs and enhance profitability amid economic pressures; an equity buyback program launched under the June 2024 shareholder authorization; and strategic network rationalization measures announced with half-year 2025 results showing revenue of EUR 122.6 million despite U.S. order deferrals and geopolitical challenges.
