Business
Jensen-Group N.V. is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and supplying advanced machinery, comprehensive systems, and integrated turnkey solutions for the heavy-duty laundry sector. The company’s extensive offerings span the entire laundry automation process. Its washroom technology encompasses systems for managing soiled linen, including sorting and handling equipment, loading devices, continuous tunnel washers, washer extractors, water presses, centrifugal extractors, and industrial dryers, alongside solutions for clean linen handling and sorting. For flatwork finishing, Jensen-Group provides innovative equipment designed for the preparation, feeding, precise ironing, folding, and stacking of flat laundry items, as well as specialized systems for towel sorting and folding. The product portfolio further extends to garment finishing systems, automated folders, and complete mat processing solutions covering washing, water extraction, drying, and finishing. Integral to its automated offerings are sophisticated material handling systems. Beyond physical machinery, the company offers a suite of digital tools such as Globe, a production management platform for the laundry industry; JENSEN Cockpit, providing real-time information for process visibility and traceability; and the Production Information Management System, which aids in planning and measuring staff and equipment utilization. Jensen-Group also delivers comprehensive turnkey projects, a full range of aftermarket services, and essential spare parts, including online availability. Operating under the JENSEN and ALPHA by JENSEN brand names, the company distributes its products and services worldwide through a robust network of direct sales and service centers, complemented by independent authorized distributors. A key focus is on sustainable solutions, exemplified by its pioneering CleanTech concept, which enhances efficiency and reduces water and energy consumption. The company actively invests in cutting-edge laundry robotics and artificial intelligence to further automate processes. Jensen-Group, which traces its origins to 1937 in Bornholm, Denmark, and is headquartered in Wetteren, Belgium, reported record order intake and revenue in the first three quarters of 2024, demonstrating strong market position and profitability. Notable strategic moves include a joint venture with MIURA in 2023 and the acquisition of a majority stake in MAXI-PRESS Holding GmbH in 2024 to expand its consumables and services offerings. Jensen-Group N.V. is a subsidiary of Jensen Invest A/S.
