In Brazil, Lightning Minerals discovered high-grade spodumene-bearing pegmatites at Esperança in November 2024 with elongated crystals up to 50cm and assays up to 18,800ppm Li or 4.04% Li2O during early-stage mapping, reconnaissance and soil sampling, providing walk-up drill targets for a fully funded program commencing in Q1 2025; the company completed acquisition of Lotus Minerals Pty Ltd, adding Queensland gold-copper projects like Mt Turner with historic high-grade hits including 16m at 3.56g/t Au and planned follow-up drilling, alongside a A$2.5 million capital raising in November 2025 to fund aggressive Phase 2 drilling campaigns at its gold, copper and lithium assets across Queensland and New South Wales, with drilling results pending and further assays expected.
