Master Drilling Group Limited Master Drilling Group Limited (JSE:MDI.JO), an investment holding company founded in 1986 and headquartered in Fochville, South Africa, provides specialized drilling services to blue-chip major and mid-tier companies in the mining, civil engineering, construction, and hydroelectric power sectors. The company offers rock boring services, including horizontal and vertical raise boring, box hole boring, slot hole drilling, reverse circulation, piling, directional drilling, shotcreting, paste holes, and LIDAR scanning; exploration drilling services such as blast hole, core, mud and air rotary, percussion, sonic, diamond, slim, and reverse circulation drilling, de-watering, and geotechnical services; Master technologies encompassing mobile tunnel boring, shaft boring systems, reef boring, and stage shaft boring; mining services including end-to-end solutions; and sale of industrial products. Master Drilling Group operates across Africa, Central and North America, South America, and internationally, employing cutting-edge technologies with a focus on safety, sustainability, and efficiency in over hundreds of projects on five continents. Recent developments include the acquisition of Konec, a Chile-based AI integration technology company for mining equipment; a strategic partnership with Element Six for diamond-enabled tunneling technology to enhance speed, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact; a joint venture with AlRushaid Group announced in February 2025 to expand in Saudi Arabia; finalization of a Mobile Tunnel Boring Machine contract in the first half of 2025; and a global partnership with De Beers Group's Element Six in March 2025 for advanced tunneling advancements.
