Optiscan Imaging Limited (ASX: OIL) develops, manufactures and commercializes confocal endomicroscopic imaging technologies that enable real-time, non-destructive, in-vivo digital imaging at the single-cell level for medical, translational, pre-clinical, veterinary and life sciences applications; its core products include InVue, a next-generation microscopic imaging device for precision surgery such as breast cancer procedures; InForm, a digital pathology system for high-resolution cellular imaging at tissue collection without slide preparation; InVivage, an intra-oral endomicroscope for virtual histology in oral cancer detection and dental workflows; ViewnVivo, a flexible endomicroscope for intravital fluorescence confocal imaging in research; and InSpecta, a veterinary point-of-care device for real-time cellular imaging of animal tissues. The Australia-based company, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Mulgrave, Victoria, operates globally with products and collaborations in Australia, the United States, Germany and China, targeting clinicians, pathologists, surgeons, researchers and veterinary professionals in oncology, precision surgery and digital pathology sectors. Recent developments include achieving all milestones in its mid-2024 Know-How Agreement with Mayo Clinic for a robotic-compatible confocal imaging system advancing to the Florida campus in 2025; entering a three-year strategic collaboration with Australian Clinical Labs for InVue and InForm deployment in a first-in-human head and neck cancer study; completing a $17.75 million capital raise led by Peters Investments in FY25; launching telepathology platform MVP and advancing AI imaging with international studies alongside partners like Monash University and UMC Mainz; and maintaining 100% on-time manufacturing with strengthened ISO quality systems.
