Partners Group Holding AG Partners Group Holding AG is a Switzerland-based global private markets investment manager that specializes in private equity, private infrastructure, private real estate and private debt. The firm offers direct investments in portfolio companies across sectors including health and life sciences, consumer goods and services, media and telecommunications, education, information technology, industrials, infrastructure and energy, financial services, and real estate operating companies; secondary and primary fund investments; private debt solutions such as senior debt financing, junior debt lending, mezzanine financing, collateralized loan obligations, and add-on acquisitions; private real estate investments in properties worldwide including distressed assets in the United States, Europe and Japan; and private infrastructure investments in midstream, power generation, gas transportation, renewable energy, water, social infrastructure and waste management. It manages customized portfolios, structured products, evergreen funds, royalties strategies, and bespoke solutions for institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, private banks and high-net-worth individuals, with approximately USD 174 billion in assets under management and around 2,000 employees across 24 offices worldwide. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, the firm operates globally with a focus on regions including the Americas, Europe, Asia, South Africa, China, India, Brazil and Chile. Recent developments include the acquisition of Empira Group, a Zug-based real estate investment firm, in the first half of 2025 to bolster its real estate capabilities; the completed acquisition of Middle River Power LLC and Avenue Golden Continuation Fund LP natural gas power plants in March 2025; strategic partnerships such as with BlackRock in September 2024 for a model portfolio solution in private equity, credit and real assets, and with Lincoln Financial and Empower in 2025 to expand access to private markets for retail and retirement investors; the launch of evergreen royalties and private equity funds targeting technology, healthcare and multi-sector royalties; leading a USD 7.3 billion buyout consortium for Techem in 2025 alongside GIC, TPG Rise Climate and Mubadala to advance energy transition services; USD 22 billion in new client commitments in 2024, its largest-ever fundraising year; and the opening of a new global headquarters campus in Zug in November 2024.
