Business
Pradip Overseas Limited manufactures and exports home textile articles, with a niche focus on home linen products including quilts, curtains, cushions, towels, bed sheets, comforters, duvet sets, table linen, bed spreads, fitted sheets, mattress covers and cushion covers made from 100% cotton sheeting, flannel, polyester cotton, 100% polyester, satin, jacquard and stripes ranging from 150 to 1000 thread count; the company operates integrated facilities for weaving, processing, dyeing, printing, finishing and stitching with capacity to deliver 300,000 sets monthly using advanced Japanese machines. Incorporated in 2005 as Chetan Textiles Limited following conversion from a 2005 partnership firm and renamed Pradip Overseas Limited in 2007 after a demerger from erstwhile Pradip Overseas Limited (now Pradip Enterprises Limited), the company traces origins to 1980 and maintains headquarters and manufacturing plants at Changodar and Chanchardwadi Vasna near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It serves domestic markets and exports to over 20 countries including Europe, Israel, Africa, Russia and Canada, targeting garment exporters, made-ups buyers and international home furnishing retailers; the company holds ISO 9001:2000 certification, remains nearly debt-free and continues modernization efforts with wider width processing plants and ongoing commitments to quality consistency. Recent developments include approval by the National Company Law Tribunal in March 2024 of a repayment plan by personal guarantors amid prior financial restructuring, with the company trading at low book value multiples and focusing on operational enhancements in its textile processing and stitching units.
