RJ Eagle Vertical Income ETF (RJVI) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks current income and long-term capital appreciation by employing a capital-structure agnostic investment approach across a company's vertical capital structure, including investment-grade corporate bonds, preferred equity securities, and dividend-paying common stocks. The fund primarily invests at least 50% in investment-grade corporate bonds issued by companies in the Bloomberg US Corporate Index, with opportunistic allocations not exceeding 30% to either common stocks or preferred securities—including convertible preferreds and those with fixed or variable interest rates—to maximize yield potential on a risk-adjusted basis; it holds approximately 74 securities and maintains a net expense ratio of 0.55%. RJVI trades on the New York Stock Exchange and targets income-oriented investors, financial advisors, and institutions seeking diversified fixed income alternatives enhanced by equity income.
Launched on October 2, 2025, as the inaugural offering in Raymond James Investment Management's ETF platform alongside the RJ Eagle GCM Dividend Select Income ETF (RJDI) and RJ Eagle Municipal Income ETF (RJMI), RJVI represents a strategic expansion into actively managed ETFs to provide transparent, tax-efficient access to Eagle Asset Management's income-focused strategies previously available via mutual funds, SMAs, and other vehicles. Raymond James Investment Management, the fund's investment advisor and administrator with $114.7 billion in assets under management, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, Inc., founded in 1962 and headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida; Eagle Asset Management, Inc., a St. Petersburg-based boutique affiliate, serves as sub-adviser, with portfolio management led by James Camp, CFA (Managing Director of Fixed Income and Strategic Income), and co-managers Brad Erwin, CFA, and John Lagowski, CFA. The ETF operates principally in U.S. markets, focusing on developed market securities without currency hedging. No further major changes, such as additional funding rounds, acquisitions, or partnerships, have been reported since its launch.
