Business
Sabre Resources Limited (ASX:SBR) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on the discovery and development of nickel sulphide, lithium, gold, uranium-vanadium, copper, cobalt and base metal deposits; its flagship Sherlock Bay project comprises a significant undeveloped nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide deposit in Western Australia's Pilbara region, complemented by a 300 square kilometre lithium holding nearby the Andover discovery, Cave Hill tenements with lithium and gold potential in the Eastern Goldfields south of Coolgardie, and an 80% interest in the Ngalia Uranium-Vanadium project in the Northern Territory's Ngalia Basin. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in West Perth, Western Australia, the company operates primarily in Australia with historical interests in Namibia. In May 2025, Sabre completed the sale of its Ninghan Gold project in Western Australia's Murchison region to Capricorn Metals Limited for A$1.85 million initial consideration comprising A$1.6 million in cash and shares plus a prospective A$250,000 payment, alongside retaining 1% NSR royalties on five tenements and 1.5% NSR on one plus up to A$1.5 million in contingent milestone payments tied to resource definition and mining decisions.
