Summa Defence Oyj operates as a Finnish defence and security technology group focused on dual-use technologies for security of supply, situational awareness, mobility, and defence applications across civilian, security, and military sectors; its core products and services include multipurpose vessels from Nordic Yards and Uudenkaupungin Työvene, multipurpose machinery from Lännen Tractors and Lännen MCE, Watermaster amphibious equipment from Aquamec for infrastructure maintenance, IntLog containers and modular spaces, drone solutions for air, land, and sea missions, XR near-eye display solutions from LightSpace combining augmented reality and AI, and renewable energy systems. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, the company targets NATO-aligned markets, industry, energy firms, properties, and defence forces in Europe and internationally, with subsidiaries emphasizing industrial-scale production and growth in maritime, ground, and new technologies. In recent developments, Summa Defence Oyj resulted from the merger of Summa Defence Oy and Meriaura Group Oyj completed in June 2025, following a conditional share exchange in January 2025; it acquired Lännen Tractors Oy, Lännen MCE AB, Aquamec Oy, Nordic Yards Oy, Intlog Oy, and LightSpace Group Inc., raised EUR 25.1 million via directed share issue, changed its name from Meriaura Group Oyj in June 2025, implemented a reverse share split in September 2025, updated its strategy in September 2025 for M&A-driven and organic growth targeting EUR 500 million revenue medium-term, and secured orders from Finnish Defence Forces.
