Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (ASX:SXE) provides specialized electrical, instrumentation, communications, security, fire and maintenance services and products across resources, commercial and infrastructure sectors in Australia. The company operates through subsidiaries including SCEE Electrical, which delivers electrical, instrumentation, maintenance and communication services to resources and infrastructure; Heyday Group, focused on electrical and data communications cabling installations; Datatel, offering electrical and communications contracting primarily in Western Australia; S.J. Electric, providing nationwide electrical services; SEME Solutions, specializing in security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder detection and nurse call; Trivantage Manufacturing, designing and manufacturing commercial and industrial switchboards; MDE Group, handling communication and electrical projects; and Force Fire, supplying mechanical and electrical fire safety solutions in New South Wales and Queensland. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, the company listed on the ASX in 2007 and generates the majority of its revenue domestically. Recent developments include the acquisition of MDE Group in 2024 and Force Fire in 2025, following prior purchases of Datatel in 2016, Heyday in 2017 and the Trivantage Group in 2020; in late 2024, subsidiaries secured $125 million in new contracts across data centres, commercial, manufacturing, resources and water sectors; and the company reported record FY25 revenue of A$801.45 million, up 45% year-on-year, with net income rising 45% to A$31.67 million.
