In June 2025, Triangle sold its onshore Cliff Head assets to partner Pilot Energy (ASX:PGY) in exchange for a secured promissory note, enabling Pilot to consolidate 100% ownership of those facilities for potential carbon capture and storage repurposing while allowing Triangle to pursue mid-cap growth through domestic and international conventional oil and gas opportunities; the company has issued new securities multiple times in 2025 including 100 million shares in August to support its strategy.
