Thorney Opportunities Ltd (ASX: TOP) is an Australia-based listed investment company that invests in listed and unlisted equities and financial assets across diverse sectors including media, automotive, energy, pharmaceuticals, engineering, mining services and financial services; its portfolio features major holdings such as Money3 Corporation Limited (vehicle and personal loans), MMA Offshore Limited (offshore marine services), Austin Engineering (mining equipment), Palla Pharma Limited (opiate manufacturing), Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (electrical services) and Australian Community Media (regional publications); the company aims to generate absolute returns over the medium to long term by acting as a constructive catalyst to unlock value in portfolio companies while targeting fully franked dividends for shareholders.
