Vranken-Pommery Monopole SA engages in the production, distribution and marketing of champagnes, wines and related alcoholic beverages from exceptional terroirs across Champagne, Provence, Camargue and the Douro Valley; operates through Champagne and Other Items, and Sable and Provence Wines segments; offers champagnes under the Vranken, Pommery & Greno, Pompadour, Charles Lafitte, Bissinger & Co, and Heidsieck & Co Monopole brands; produces port wines and Douro wines under Rozès, Sao Pédro and Terras do Grifo labels; markets rosé wines including Sables de Camargue under Pink Flamingo and Domaine Royal de Jarras brands, and Provence wines from Château La Gordonne and Chappelle Gordonne; provides sparkling wines such as Louis Pommery California, Louis Pommery England, Brut de France and Pink Flamingo sparkling; manages 2,600 hectares of vineyards either owned or leased, with four production sites in France and Portugal. The company, founded in 1976 and headquartered at 5 place du Général Gouraud in Reims, France, distributes net sales geographically with France at 41.1%, Europe at 37.6% and other regions at 21.3%; serves international markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil and Canada through selective and traditional channels; employs 567 people and maintains a commitment to sustainable viticulture and environmental preservation. In recent strategic developments, Vranken-Pommery Monopole entered exclusive negotiations in 2025 with Lanson-BCC to sell Heidsieck & Co Monopole, with a sale agreement anticipated on October 1, 2025 to support debt reduction and operational streamlining; plans to rebrand as Maison Pommery Associés ahead of key anniversaries in 2026; continues efforts to divest unspecified Camargue land and assets while focusing on premiumization and value creation.
