Business
Canopy Growth Corporation engages in the production, distribution and sale of cannabis, hemp and cannabis-related products for recreational, medical and wellness purposes. The company offers a diverse portfolio of cannabis products including dried flower, oils, soft-gel capsules, edibles, vapes, beverages and accessories through owned and licensed brands such as Tweed, 7ACRES, DOJA, Deep Space, Claybourne, Tokyo Smoke, Spectrum Therapeutics and First & Free; it also provides vaporization devices via Storz & Bickel and lifestyle CBD products via This Works. Canopy Growth operates through segments encompassing Canada Cannabis, International Markets Cannabis, Storz & Bickel and This Works, with principal activities in Canada, Germany, Australia, Europe and a comprehensive U.S. ecosystem via Canopy USA, LLC. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada, the company maintains global operations and targets adult-use consumers, medical patients and wellness customers. In recent developments, Canopy Growth completed the acquisition of Acreage Holdings, Inc. through Canopy USA in May 2025, establishing a vertically integrated multi-state operator in the U.S. Midwest and Northeast; it finalized 100% ownership of Wana Wellness, LLC (including The CIMA Group and Mountain High Products), a leading North American edibles brand, and approximately 77% of Lemurian Inc. (Jetty Extracts), a California-based vape and extracts producer, in 2024. The company established a new US$200 million at-the-market equity program in August 2025 to fund investments, potential acquisitions, working capital and debt repayment, replacing a prior program from February 2025. Canopy Growth continues international expansion in Germany and Poland while advancing U.S. THC market opportunities independent of federal legalization, alongside ongoing product innovations like VEAZY beverages.
