iShares MSCI Europe IMI Index ETF (CAD-Hedged) (XEH.TO) seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the MSCI Europe IMI 100% Hedged to CAD Index (the Index), net of expenses. Launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited on April 22, 2014, with co-management by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A., the ETF is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and domiciled in Canada, with its headquarters at 161 Bay Street, Suite 2500, Toronto, Ontario. Under normal market conditions, it primarily invests in European equity securities across large-, mid-, and small-capitalization companies representing diversified sectors in developed European markets or through other exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock Canada or affiliates; the portfolio hedges foreign currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. The ETF offers investors broad exposure to European equities hedged against CAD currency fluctuations, targeting growth and value stocks; as of April 30, 2025, its top holdings include iShares Core MSCI Europe ETF (3.6%), SAP SE (2.2%), Nestle SA (2.0%), ASML Holding NV (1.9%), and Roche Holding AG (1.8%), comprising 19.1% of assets, with total holdings numbering 1,201 across countries such as the United Kingdom (21.6%), France (15.2%), Germany (14.1%), and Switzerland (14.0%). It distributes semi-annually, with a management expense ratio of 0.28% and total ETF expenses of 0.29%, and maintains assets under management of approximately $220.5 million as of April 30, 2025. Geographically, the ETF focuses on developed European markets, providing Canadian investors with diversified access without direct unhedged currency risk. No major strategic changes, such as partnerships, acquisitions, new product launches, funding rounds, or reorganizations, have been reported for the ETF in the last 1-2 years; it continues to operate steadily under BlackRock's management, tracking the Index with recent performance reflecting year-to-date returns of 18.43% and a 1-year total return of 17.46% as of late 2025. The ETF maintains its core investment approach amid ongoing market conditions, with portfolio snapshots updated periodically to reflect current holdings and regional allocations.
