Eni S.p.A. (Ticker: 0N9S.IL) operates as an integrated energy company engaged in the exploration, development and production of crude oil, condensates and natural gas; the supply, trading and marketing of wholesale natural gas via pipeline and liquefied natural gas; refining and processing of crude oil into fuels, bitumens, lubricants and biofuels; production and retail marketing of traditional and bio fuels alongside electric vehicle charging services through Enilive; manufacturing of basic chemicals, petrochemicals, plastics, elastomers and other chemicals via Versalis; retail sales of gas, electricity and related energy efficiency solutions; and production and wholesale of electricity from thermoelectric and renewable plants through Plenitude. The company serves households, businesses, industrial sectors including land, air and water transport, and commercial clients with sustainable energy products, smart mobility solutions and decarbonization services across energy, power, oil and gas, LNG, e-mobility, petroleum, transport and agribusiness end-user industries. Founded in 1953 and headquartered in Rome, Italy, Eni maintains operations in approximately 70 countries spanning Italy, the European Union, Rest of Europe, the United States, Asia, Africa and other international regions, with over 32,000 employees supporting its segments of Exploration & Production, Global Gas & LNG Portfolio and Power, Refining and Chemicals, Enilive, Plenitude and Corporate and Other Activities. Recent developments include Plenitude's binding agreement in December 2025 to acquire 100% of Acea Energia S.p.A., adding over 1.4 million retail customers in Italy and advancing toward 15 million customers by 2030; completion of a sale of 20% stake in Plenitude to Ares Management for around EUR 2 billion in November 2025; finalization of KKR & Co.'s acquisition of a 25% stake in Enilive for EUR 2.97 billion in September 2025 with an additional 5% option announced earlier; a long-term LNG sale agreement with Thai Gulf Development Company in December 2025 to bolster global marketing; and new partnerships for 1.5 GW wind and PV projects in Italy and Spain alongside exploration commitments in Sierra Leone.
