Dell Technologies Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, markets, sells and supports a broad range of information technology solutions, products and services worldwide; its portfolio encompasses the Client Solutions Group offering desktops, notebooks, workstations, tablets, monitors, projectors, printers and peripherals under the Dell brand as well as attached and third-party software; the Infrastructure Solutions Group providing servers including rack, blade, tower and hyperscale models, traditional and next-generation storage solutions, networking products such as PowerSwitch Z-series Ethernet switches and services including consulting, deployment, support, configuration and extended warranties; and additional offerings like Dell AI Factory for AI-enabled architectures, PowerEdge servers such as XE9785 and R770AP optimized for AI workloads, PowerScale software-defined storage, ObjectScale AI-optimized search, Dell APEX as-a-service infrastructure, multi-cloud management, data security, private cloud computing and Dell Asset Recovery Services. Headquartered in Round Rock, Texas since 1994 and founded originally in 1984 with roots tracing to the 2016 merger of Dell Inc. and EMC Corporation, the company operates globally across more than 170 countries with manufacturing facilities including major sites in Penang, Malaysia and Xiamen, China, serving large enterprises, small and medium businesses, public sector customers and consumers through direct sales, channels and online platforms; it maintains 731 subsidiaries spanning 67 countries and focuses on scale-out architecture, converged infrastructure, hybrid/multi-cloud environments, AI integration and edge computing.
