The company operates through two primary segments—Automated Test Equipment and Factory Automation Solutions—designing, developing, manufacturing, and installing standard and non-standard automated equipment; test and measurement systems; integrated factory and warehouse automation solutions; high-precision machine parts; die casting parts; and single-use medical devices, medical equipment, and related instruments for industries including semiconductors (discrete and integrated circuits, SiC/GaN power modules), electro-optical/MEMS sensors, optics/photonic sensors, automotive, electrical and electronics, pharmaceutical, medical devices, food and beverages, consumer electronics, and general manufacturing, with customers spanning the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and ASEAN countries via production facilities in Malaysia and China, and sales offices in the USA, Japan, Germany, and Singapore. Recent developments include a strategic acquisition agreement in December 2024 by parent Pentamaster Corporation Berhad alongside MediaTek Inc. and United Microelectronics Corporation to increase ownership to 71% for HKD 810 million, with shareholder approval secured by February 2025 and closure anticipated in March 2025; ongoing RM200 million expansion in 2024-2025 to complete a third plant in Batu Kawan for medical technology, consumer electronics, and semiconductors, plus new design centers in California and Munich for electric vehicle and medical customers; and heightened focus on high-growth segments like medical devices (projected 40-45% of 2025 revenue), IGBT/SiC for EVs, and AI-driven consumer electronics.
