Risecomm Group Holdings Limited (1679.HK) is an investment holding company principally engaged in the research, development, production and sales of power line communication (PLC) products and solutions, as well as the provision of smart manufacturing and industrial automation services. The company operates through three main segments: Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Other Business, which encompasses the design, development and sale of PLC integrated circuits, modules, concentrators, routers and controllers; energy saving and environmental protection products including automated meter reading systems, building energy management systems, streetlight control systems and photovoltaic power management systems; and maintenance services for AMR deployments by power grid companies; Smart Manufacturing & Industrial Automation (SMIA) Business, focused on software licenses, production safety products, construction contracts and post-contract support; and Wind Farm Operation and Maintenance (WFOM) Business, providing operation and maintenance services for wind farms. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Risecomm primarily serves power grid operators, meter manufacturers, original design manufacturers and industrial clients in the People's Republic of China. In recent developments, the company completed the acquisition of Zhongyi (BVI) International Limited and its subsidiaries on 27 March 2024 to establish a new business segment in engineering management services; conducted a rights issue in 2025 raising approximately HK$80.4 million in net proceeds to bolster capital; and implemented a five-for-one share consolidation effective in August-September 2025 to adjust its capital structure.
