Porton Pharma Solutions Ltd. (300363.SZ) is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) providing end-to-end services for small molecule drugs, peptide and oligonucleotide drugs, biologics and conjugates including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) and peptide-drug conjugates (PDCs), and advanced therapy medicinal products such as gene and cell therapies; its core offerings encompass active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), drug substances (DS), drug products (DP), process development, GMP manufacturing from preclinical to commercial scale, and one-stop solutions for global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, research institutions, and clinical trials. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Chongqing, China, with additional headquarters in Shanghai, the company operates R&D centers and production sites across China (including Sichuan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hubei, and Suzhou), the United States (New Jersey), Slovenia, Belgium, Switzerland, and Denmark, employing over 4,900 staff globally and serving more than 1,000 clients including 80% of the top 20 pharmaceutical firms. Formerly known as Porton Fine Chemicals Ltd., it changed its name to Porton Pharma Solutions Ltd. in January 2018 to reflect its expanded CDMO scope. Recent developments include a strategic partnership with Dragon Sail Pharmaceutical in December 2024 to build an ADC drug development and production ecosystem through resource integration and supply chain sharing; a strategic alliance with Shanghai InnoStar Bio-tech in October 2024 for non-clinical research and end-to-end CDMO collaboration to accelerate drug development and enhance global market competitiveness; acquisition of 100% of Shanghai Gateway Pharmaceutical in 2022 to bolster CRO capabilities, R&D-production integration, and overall CDMO capacity; a strategic cooperation with Porton Biotech and Tianyu Life in September for NK cell therapy research, process development, GMP production, and clinical approval support; recognition as an excellent supplier by Mednovo Group in 2025 for radionuclide-drug conjugate (RDC) R&D support; opening of its small molecule platform headquarters and R&D center in Shanghai's Minhang District in May 2023 spanning 22,000 square meters; and Series-A financing closure for subsidiary Suzhou Porton Biologics in 2025 to expand commercial production of gene and cell therapy products including plasmids, viral vectors, and AAV processes.
