Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, HOTLAND underwent a significant corporate change by renaming from HotLand Co., Ltd. to HOTLAND HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. in April 2025, reflecting its holding company structure and diversified business operations. In recent years, the company has focused on expanding its restaurant business and improving profitability, with revenues growing notably to over JPY 46 billion and net income improving significantly by 81% year-on-year as of fiscal 2024. Additionally, HOTLAND completed an equity buyback in late 2023, underlining strategic financial management efforts. The company continues to develop new food service offerings and strengthen its brand presence domestically and internationally through direct operations, franchise expansion, and diversification into resort and real estate sectors, providing a comprehensive food and lifestyle business platform with a strong foothold in Japan and growing overseas presence. HOTLAND's holistic business model targets a wide consumer base including food service customers, franchise partners, and retail consumers, operating through approximately 669 locations and employing close to 900 staff members. Its main markets are Japan and select international locations where it promotes Japanese cuisine and lifestyle culture through various food brands and resort ventures. The company's ongoing strategic initiatives aim at enhancing brand value and operational efficiency across its multiple business domains.
