Business
Ad-Sol Nissin Corporation develops information systems and provides solutions primarily for social infrastructure and IoT applications. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company operates through two main segments: the Social System segment, which delivers total solutions for device control and credit systems serving energy (electricity and gas), railways, aviation, communications, disaster prevention, plants, and geographic information; and the IoT System segment, which leverages OS kernel technology and embedded software development to offer solutions in security, short-distance wireless communication, location information, electric communication, energy, environment, medical care, and factory automation. Core products include ZigBee wireless communication products such as multi-hop communication standards, tag solutions for location management, communication checkers, and environment evaluation tools; power line communication software; Touch Tag electric field communication starter kits; hands-free authentication systems; energy monitoring systems for visualization; geographic information systems (GIS); and information security products, with additional services encompassing consulting, maintenance, workflow development, system integration, and full information system life cycle support targeting power/gas utilities, rail, roads, financial services, automobiles, public works, and manufacturing sectors primarily in Japan. In May 2023, the company launched its medium-term management plan "New Canvas 2026" to drive growth through digital transformation solutions focused on carbon neutrality and smart cities; it continues to emphasize co-creation with global partners and proprietary product development in IoT, GIS, and security without major acquisitions, funding rounds, or reorganizations reported in the last two years.
