The company offers a broad portfolio of products including dermatological treatments such as skin creams, ointments, lotions, gels, and scrubs for skin diseases and care; respiratory, central nervous system, digestive, and musculoskeletal system medicines; urinary and reproductive system drugs; cardiovascular, diabetes, anti-infective, and anti-parasitic drugs; pain relievers, antiseptics, sexual system drugs, and women's and men's health products; as well as disinfectants, hand sanitizers, mouthwashes, soaps, solutions, sprays, syrups, tonics, masks, capsules, rolls, and tablets. It operates through three segments—Private, Public, and Export—serving hospitals, polyclinics, pharmacies, and distributors, while also providing contract manufacturing services. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with branch offices in Jeddah, Dammam, and Dubai in the UAE, the company maintains three manufacturing and R&D facilities spanning over 5,000 square meters, supported by a central warehouse and additional storage sites across the Kingdom. In February 2024, the company completed its initial public offering (IPO) by listing 6,000,000 shares, representing 30% of its issued share capital, on the Tadawul exchange, marking a significant capital market debut to fuel growth. In July 2025, Avalon Pharma earned Great Place to Work® certification, highlighting its workplace culture amid ongoing expansion in health and beauty products with an emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable formulations. The company, formerly known as Middle East Chemical Products Factory Company until its name change in January 2006, continues to prioritize rigorous quality testing and clinically proven ingredients for its scientifically researched brands.
