MANAC Chemical Partners Co., Ltd. engages in the business management, research and development, and oversight of group companies that develop, manufacture, sell, import, and export industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and veterinary drugs in Japan and internationally. Through its primary subsidiary MANAC Incorporated, the company supplies raw materials encompassing flame retardants; pharmaceutical intermediates; antibacterial agents; veterinary drugs; food additives; photosensitive materials for imaging and information recording; high-performance materials including dyes, fragrances, and electronic materials; and bromine- and iodine-based inorganic and organic chemicals derived from seawater minerals to advanced technological industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, automotive, office automation equipment, and photo processing. Additional subsidiaries include MANAC (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which handles chemical product import and export in China, and M.C. Service Corporation, which provides warehouse leasing services; the company also maintains an affiliation with Iodo-Finechem Corporation for the development, manufacture, and sale of iodine-related products. Founded in 1948 and headquartered at 6F Nihonbashi Sakuradori Bldg., 3-8-4, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan, MANAC Chemical Partners operates research facilities including the Hamamatsu Research Laboratory in Shizuoka and maintains production sites in Fukuyama and Gobun. Recent developments include the agreed acquisition of a 99.90% stake in Kinkai Chemicals Co., Ltd. from Teijin Limited announced on October 30, 2025 to expand its chemical operations; organizational restructuring with the closure of the Shonan Innovation Laboratory by the end of September 2025; a 2024 stock transfer involving Hakko Tsusho Co., Ltd.; and participation in global industry events such as CPhI China 2025.
