Founded in 1944 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Yushiro operates through subsidiaries and joint ventures in Asia, the Americas, and other regions, including Shanghai Yushiro Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in China, Yushiro Manufacturing America Inc. in the United States, Yushiro Do Brasil Industria Quimica Ltda. in Brazil, and facilities in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea, and Hong Kong. In April 2025, the company changed its name from Yushiro Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. to Yushiro Inc.; it merged with Japan Cee-Bee Chemical Co., Ltd. in March 2023, having previously made it a subsidiary in 2015, and maintains a strategic global partnership with QualiChem Inc. established in 2020 to expand metalworking fluids and water treatment offerings through combined R&D, supply chain, and sales networks.
