Business
Sime Darby Property Berhad develops residential, commercial, industrial and logistics properties; provides property investment, asset management, hospitality and leisure services; and manages retail malls, golf courses and serviced residences. The company offers landed and high-rise residential homes, office spaces, retail outlets, modern warehouses, logistics parks and data centres across townships such as Elmina, Bandar Bukit Raja, Hamilton Nilai City and Pagoh Special Economic Zone; operates approximately 14,700 acres of strategically located land bank primarily on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia from Klang Valley to Johor and Negeri Sembilan; and maintains investment properties including 5.4 million square feet of net lettable area in commercial, retail, hospitality, education and industrial segments across Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, Sime Darby Property listed on Bursa Malaysia in 2017 and forms part of the Sime Darby group. The company targets diverse customers including homebuyers, industrial tenants, logistics operators and institutional investors, with a presence in Malaysia and the UK through projects like the Battersea Power Station redevelopment consortium. Recent developments include record unbilled sales of RM3.84 billion as of early 2025, planned launches of RM3.3 billion gross development value in residential, industrial and commercial properties; full ownership acquisition of modern logistics warehouses in Bandar Bukit Raja; final closing of the RM1 billion SDPLOG Industrial Development Fund joint venture with Logos in 2024 for logistics parks like E-Metro; data centre leasing initiatives with projects slated for 2026-2027; and the upcoming opening of KLGCC Mall in the second half of 2025 alongside improved performance at KL East Mall and Elmina Lakeside Mall.
