(5902.TWO) imports, distributes and markets fast-moving consumer goods, with a focus on beverages, desserts, ice cream, snack foods, liquors and water in Taiwan. The company offers an extensive portfolio of private-label and agency brands, including KAISI Oolong Tea, TAIT TEA chilled oolong tea, UNI DESSERT chilled desserts, NIJIYA, MORINAGA ice cream products, KABAYA snacks, KAISI SELECTION, Master Café coffees, OATLY oat drinks, Starbucks bottled coffees, Singha beer, BECK's beer and various imported liquors, desserts such as yogurt sweet soups, ice creams, snack foods like hot cake mix, butter cookies, mini pretzels, chocolate balls, salted egg fish skin and instant noodles, as well as sparkling sodas, mineral water, almond milk, coconut water and milk teas. Tait operates primarily through convenience stores, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants, with product development, brand management, warehousing, logistics and export capabilities targeting Taiwan consumers and select overseas markets. Founded in 1845 by British businessman James Tait and headquartered at 14F, No. 27, Sec. 1, Anhe Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan, the company maintains offices in Tainan and functions as a subsidiary of Uni-President Enterprises Corp. within the Uni-President Group. Recent developments include consistent cash dividend distributions of NT$1.50 per share for 2023 paid in July 2024 and a proposed NT$1.65 per share for 2024 alongside recognition as an outstanding electronic invoice user by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance in July 2024, with sustained agency expansions such as Starbucks, OATLY, MORINAGA and Singha underpinning stable growth in imported premium brands.
