Vision Inc. (TSE: 9416) provides mobile Wi-Fi router rental services, information and communications infrastructure solutions, and travel-related offerings including glamping and transportation. The company operates three primary business segments: Global WiFi, which rents Wi-Fi routers usable in over 200 countries and regions on a flat-rate packet basis, including brands such as Global WiFi for outbound travelers, NINJA WiFi for inbound visitors to Japan, and Global WiFi for Biz for corporate stationary use; Information and Communications, which delivers fixed-line and mobile communication services, business phones, broadband lines, office automation equipment, security products, website creation, and agency services for electricity and electrical works; and Glamping and Tourism (also encompassing Travel and Transportation), which offers glamping resorts such as Vision Glamping Resort Yamanakako and Koshikano Onsen, luxury limousine time-sharing via ProDrivers, inbound travel planning under Japan Destinations, and ancillary services like airport transfers and lost item support. Vision Inc. targets outbound Japanese travelers, inbound tourists, newly established corporations, ventures, multi-store chains, and individual corporate clients, with operations spanning Japan through domestic bases and internationally via subsidiaries and hubs in South Korea, Singapore, UK, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Taiwan, China, France, Italy, California, New Caledonia, Vietnam, and a new U.S. subsidiary in New York. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Shinjuku Eastside Square, Tokyo, the company maintains 18 consolidated subsidiaries including Best Link Inc. for broadband agency and ZORSE Co., Ltd. following its acquisition in June 2023. Recent developments include a March 2023 management reorganization appointing Kenichi Sano as Chairman and CEO and Kenji Ota as President and COO; establishment of a Business Strategy for 2025-2028 in February 2025; expansion of Unlimited Plan coverage to 128 countries by December 2024 and Unlimited 5G to 50 countries by November 2024; new product launches such as Mega Charge Battery, High-performance Multi-Port Adapter, Location-Identification GPS, and World eSIM; openings of stores at EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai, Kansai International Airport Terminal 2, Fukuoka Airport, and Hiroshima Airport with Smart Pickup lockers; business alliances with Fast Doctor for online health consultations, THISIS for lost item services, Tailor App via ZORSE for SNS management, and considerations for a joint venture with uCloudlink; launch of services including SNS Unyo.com, DENKI-KOJI OMAKASE.COM, Kicho-Daiko.com, and its own broadband offering; awards such as Rakuten Travel Gold Award 2024 for Vision Glamping Resort Yamanakako, CRM Best Practice Award (13th time), and a B score in CDP 2024 Climate Change survey; surpassing 21 million total Wi-Fi users and No.1 rankings in overseas and domestic rentals; and plans for performance-linked stock compensation introduced in 2024.
