NOMURA Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based comprehensive space production company specializing in research, consulting, planning, design, layout, production, construction, and operation and management of environments aimed at attracting customers. Its core products and services include spatial environment creation for commercial facilities, specialty stores, department stores, shopping centers, museums, leisure facilities, public relations and sales promotion events, exhibitions, and creative events. It provides extensive services such as project management including process, quality, safety, construction, and budget management; furniture and fixture manufacturing; operation management including facility operation, opening preparation, recruitment, human resource management, public relations, customer attraction and promotion, administrative office services, and public-private partnership services. The company also engages in business promotion activities including restaurants and retail operations, surveys and research, tourism and regional revitalization, exhibitions and events, and maintenance inspection and services. Founded in 1892, NOMURA is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, and operates both domestically and internationally. In the past two years, NOMURA has undertaken significant strategic initiatives including participation in the Osaka-Kansai Expo with space creation projects, ongoing research and development through its Future Creation Laboratory to innovate spatial value, and collaboration with partners in new business areas such as environmental and social impact projects. It has also advanced its digital and experiential offerings aligned with contemporary market demands. In 2023, NOMURA acquired a substantial stake in New Forests Pty Limited, a global leader in nature-based real assets and natural capital asset management, furthering its commitment to sustainability and expanding its investment platform reach, particularly in Japan and Asia. The company also recently launched new services in marketing research, feasibility studies, leasing, and multi-purpose commercial space operations.
