Themes ETF Trust – Leverage Shares 2X Long AAPL Daily ETF is an actively managed, non-diversified U.S. exchange-traded fund that seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, corresponding to 200% of the daily percentage change in the market price of Apple Inc. common stock (Nasdaq: AAPL). The Fund is advised by Themes Management Company, LLC and is part of the Themes ETF Trust fund family, whose principal executive offices are in Greenwich, Connecticut. The Fund is listed on Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc. under ticker AAPE, was launched on July 2, 2026, and carries a 0.75% annual management fee. It is designed principally for sophisticated investors and active traders seeking tactical, short-term leveraged long exposure to Apple shares.
The Fund provides daily 2x long exposure to Apple through direct investments in Apple common stock and, primarily, derivative instruments; total-return swap agreements with major financial institutions; standardized exchange-traded call and put options; FLEX options; synthetic-forward option combinations; cash and cash-equivalent collateral; money market funds; deposit accounts; short-term investment-grade debt instruments; U.S. government securities; and repurchase agreements. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in Apple stock and instruments that collectively provide 200% daily leveraged exposure to Apple. The portfolio is rebalanced at the close of each trading day to maintain the targeted exposure and may experience high turnover. The Fund is concentrated in the technology hardware and equipment industry and has U.S. geographic exposure through its Apple-linked investments.
AAPE does not seek to deliver twice Apple’s performance over periods longer than a single trading day. Because it resets exposure daily, compounded returns, volatility, derivative costs and transaction costs can cause results over longer holding periods to differ materially from 200% of Apple’s cumulative return; the Fund can lose value even when Apple’s share price rises over a multi-day period. The Fund may also be exposed to leverage, derivatives, counterparty, collateral, liquidity, correlation, market, rebalancing and technology-sector risks, and shareholders may lose their entire investment if Apple declines by more than 50% in a single trading day.
The Fund’s principal recent strategic development is its formation and market launch in July 2026 as a leveraged single-stock ETF within the Leverage Shares by Themes product range. Following the launch, the Fund implemented its daily-reset derivatives strategy and, as of September 2026, reported a portfolio primarily comprising Apple-linked swap positions and a Treasury obligations money market fund used as collateral.
