Amgen serves healthcare providers, wholesalers and patients globally, with approximately 80% of revenues from U.S. sales to major distributors including McKesson Corporation, Cencora and Cardinal Health. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California, the company operates manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico, Ireland, Singapore, Rhode Island, Ohio, North Carolina and elsewhere, employing around 28,000 people across approximately 100 countries.
