ABL Group ASA, formerly AqualisBraemar LOC ASA, is a leading independent global consultancy providing energy, marine, engineering and software solutions to drive safety and sustainability across the renewables, maritime and oil and gas sectors. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including marine warranty survey and third-party verification; rig moving and inspection; marine assurance and risk management; maritime services; wells and reservoir consulting; resource solutions; specialized software such as AssetVoice, Effio, ePav, emiTr, iQx, hiQbe and AquaSafe; technical due diligence; owner's engineering; project advisory; engineering services for wind power, solar PV, energy storage, hydrogen, power-to-x, wave and tidal technologies; vessel and marine design; marine operations engineering; advanced analysis and simulations; asset integrity management; dynamic positioning assurance and consulting; electrification solutions; and marine and survey management. With roots tracing back to 1856 through The Salvage Association, one of the world's first marine surveying organizations, ABL Group ASA is headquartered in London, England, and maintains 77 offices across 43 countries, including major hubs in Europe, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, employing over 1,800 people and operating under brands such as ABL, AGR, OWC and Longitude. Recent developments include the acquisition of AGR in 2023 to enhance well and reservoir consultancy, digitalization and energy transition capabilities; the purchase of Proper Marine, now integrated as Longitude Brazil; a global client relationship agreement with Woodside Energy for offshore energy construction and operations; a partnership with Petroleum Marine Services in Egypt for rig moving services in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez; a five-year frame agreement with Vår Energi for resourcing services; selection for a UK offshore installation project; and the appointment of Hege Marie Norheim as CEO, alongside payment of a NOK 0.45 dividend in November 2025. The company serves clients in upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas; shipping, ports, harbors, defense, small craft and yachts in maritime; renewables development onshore and offshore; and digital solutions for asset lifecycle management, supporting project phases from concept and feasibility through development, engineering, construction, operations and decommissioning.
