Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Ramat Gan, Israel, Ayalon Insurance Company Ltd changed its name from Ayalon Holdings Ltd in July 2022 to reflect its focus on insurance operations; in December 2024, it entered a loss portfolio transfer reinsurance agreement with Phoenix Financial Ltd, under which Ayalon transferred 75% of its outstanding employer and third-party liability claims portfolio valued at approximately NIS 930 million from underwriting years 2010 to 2022, pending regulatory approval.
