Business
Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH) operates a network of private hospitals and clinics in Thailand and Laos, providing comprehensive primary to tertiary healthcare services to Thai, international, and Social Security patients. Founded in 1984 and headquartered at 44 Moo 4, Chaengwattana Road, Pakkred, Nonthaburi, Thailand, the company manages four hospital groups—World Medical Hospital Group, Kasemrad International Hospital Group, Kasemrad Hospital Group, and Karunvej Hospital Group—comprising 16 hospitals, two polyclinics, one radiation oncology clinic, and five mobile dental buses with 2,323 licensed beds and 684 exam rooms across locations in Bangkok vicinity, Chiang Rai, Saraburi, Nonthaburi, Pathumthani, Ayutthaya, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, and Vientiane, Laos. Core services include heart centers offering early diagnosis, treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, and open-heart surgery; diagnostic imaging and radiation centers; eye centers for examinations, treatments, and surgeries; cancer centers providing screening, diagnosis, and chemotherapy; fertility centers utilizing blastocyst culture technology; diabetic wound care; comprehensive dental services; and dialysis treatment with advanced hemodialysis machines; additional businesses encompass health drink sales, medical analysis and research, and computer program development for healthcare. Recent developments feature the grand opening of Kasemrad Hospital Pathumthani in August 2025 following its rebranding from Karunvej Pathum Thani Hospital on January 1, 2025, alongside the opening of a heart center at Kasemrad Hospital Chachoengsao in January 2024 and the Kasemrad Ari Radiation Oncology Clinic; Kasemrad International Hospital Vientiane achieved JCI accreditation in September 2025 as the first in Laos, building on its 2021 launch via a partnership with RATCH Group acquiring a 9.91% stake in Bangkok Chain International (Lao) Co., Ltd. BCH targets double-digit revenue growth in 2025 driven by rebounding Social Security patient volumes at rebranded facilities and improved performance at three new hospitals, while evaluating potential acquisitions from financially troubled groups and pursuing expansion to 20 hospitals by 2028 focused on eastern Thailand and the Eastern Economic Corridor. The company earned SET ESG Ratings "AA" in December 2024, Outstanding Investor Relations Award at SET Awards 2025 for the second year, and eighth consecutive year on the ESG100 list in July 2025, reflecting sustained commitment to governance and sustainability.
