Business
Bell Copper Corporation engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and evaluation of mineral properties in North America, with a focus on copper and molybdenum deposits in Arizona, USA; it holds 100% interest in the Big Sandy porphyry copper-molybdenum project comprising approximately 5,733 acres of mineral tenures including 256 federal lode mining claims and three Arizona state mineral exploration permits located in northwestern Arizona; and it retains a 49% interest in the Perseverance porphyry copper-molybdenum project covering approximately 13,000 acres following a joint venture arrangement. The company, founded in 1991 and headquartered at Suite 900, 885 West Georgia Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, primarily targets large-scale porphyry copper systems in a region responsible for about 10% of global copper production. Recent developments include a July 2024 amendment to the Perseverance joint venture agreement with Cordoba Minerals Corp., under which Cordoba holds a vested 51% interest and has committed to spending an additional C$14.2 million by April 2026 to earn up to an 80% interest while advancing exploration including planned IP-resistivity surveys; a December 2024 corporate update and warrant extension; and the October 2025 initiation of a second Arizona Geological Survey critical minerals study funded by the U.S. Geological Survey and State of Arizona at the Big Sandy project.
