- BNY Mellon Emerging Markets Debt ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund of BNY Mellon ETF Trust II that seeks total return through investment in emerging-markets fixed-income securities. The Fund is advised by BNY Mellon ETF Investment Adviser, LLC and co-managed by Insight North America LLC, an affiliate within BNY Mellon Investment Management’s global investment platform. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in fixed-income securities of emerging-markets issuers, principally hard-currency debt denominated in U.S. dollars, euros or pounds sterling; it may also invest in local-currency debt, generally hedged to the U.S. dollar. Portfolio investments may include sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds; debt of government agencies and political subdivisions; high-yield securities; cash and cash equivalents; derivatives and futures used for investment exposure, duration management, hedging or efficient portfolio management. The Fund employs fundamental and quantitative analysis in constructing its portfolio and does not seek to track an index. Shares trade under the ticker BEMD on Cboe BZX Exchange. The Fund targets retail, intermediary and institutional investors seeking professionally managed exposure to global emerging-markets debt and is domiciled in the United States. BEMD was launched in August 2026, representing BNY Mellon Investment Management’s recent expansion of its actively managed ETF offering into emerging-markets fixed income. Federico Garcia Zamora, Head of EMD Macro Strategies at Insight North America LLC, and Rodica Glavan, Head of Emerging Market Corporate Fixed Income at Insight Investment Management (Global) Limited, became portfolio managers in August 2026. The Fund carries a 0.40% management fee and total expense ratio.
