In recent developments, BEML signed a strategic partnership with South Korea's STX Engine in February 2025 to jointly develop, manufacture and market battle tank and marine engines; entered three MoUs worth approximately Rs 350 crore with Dredging Corporation of India Limited in October 2025 for dredging, reservoir de-siltation and inland waterway solutions; formed a quadripartite MoU with Deendayal Port Authority, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Umeandus Technologies for a real-time automatic cargo evacuation system; signed an MoU with Kineco Ltd. in October 2025 for advanced composite manufacturing in defence and aerospace; inaugurated three new defence production units at its Kolar Gold Fields complex in July 2025 focused on armoured recovery vehicles; laid the foundation stone for its greenfield 'Brahma' rail manufacturing facility near Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, in August 2025 to boost rail and defence production with expected annual revenues of Rs 2,500-6,000 crore; and secured a Rs 157 crore order in December 2025 from Loram Rail Maintenance India for switch rail grinding machines.
