ETF Series Solutions – Bahl & Gaynor Dividend ETF is a U.S.-domiciled, actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks long-term growth of dividend income, downside protection relative to the broader equity market, and total return. The fund, which commenced operations on December 11, 2024, issues shares trading on NYSE Arca under the ticker BGDV and is advised by Bahl & Gaynor, Inc., an investment-management firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. BGDV invests primarily in dividend-paying, U.S.-listed equity securities, with at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, normally invested in securities that paid dividends during the preceding 12 calendar months. Its eligible investments include common stocks of U.S. companies; American depositary receipts representing foreign equity securities; and real estate investment trusts. The fund employs a bottom-up, fundamentals-driven selection process that evaluates historical earnings and dividend growth, balance-sheet strength, cash-flow generation, competitive positioning, prospective cash-flow and dividend growth, valuation, capital-allocation practices and macroeconomic conditions. It targets issuers considered to have high-quality business models, durable competitive advantages, reasonable valuations and sound capital-allocation policies, and may invest across market capitalizations and sectors without a prescribed sector allocation. Portfolio positions may be sold following an unacceptable dividend reduction, deteriorating fundamentals or management, excessive portfolio weighting, or the identification of a more attractive investment opportunity. Bahl & Gaynor, Inc. serves as investment adviser, with Robert S. Groenke, President, Chief Executive Officer and Principal, and Peter M. Kwiatkowski, CFA, Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager and Principal, jointly responsible for day-to-day portfolio management. The fund charges a 0.45% management fee and 0.45% total annual operating expenses. Recent developments include the fund’s first full calendar-year performance disclosure, reporting a 13.62% return for 2025, and the April 2026 issuance of an updated prospectus reflecting a 32% portfolio-turnover rate for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025; as of March 31, 2026, the portfolio had significant exposure to industrials, financials and information technology companies.
