In recent strategic developments, Marmara Holding was established and listed on the Borsa Istanbul under the ticker symbol MARMR in September 2025 as part of an equity spin-off designed to consolidate and operate specialized paint and chemical assets, including ownership interests in Polisan Kansai Boya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS and Rohm and Haas Kimyasal Urunler Uretim Dagitim ve Ticaret AS. In July 2026, the company entered into a definitive share purchase agreement to sell its entire 50% equity stake in Polisan Kansai Boya to its long-standing joint venture partner, Japan-based Kansai Paint Co., Ltd., for a cash consideration of USD 93 million, representing a major portfolio restructuring aimed at streamlining corporate operations, realizing asset value, and reallocating capital toward future industrial and chemical growth initiatives.
