Business
SA-RA Enerji Insaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.S. is a Turkey-based industrial manufacturing and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company primarily engaged in the design, manufacturing, and installation of power transmission, distribution, telecommunications, and renewable energy infrastructure. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, the company operates as a flagship industrial enterprise of the Sa-Ra Group alongside affiliates including Sara Global Enerji Yatirim A.S., Sara Dis Ticaret A.S., and Sara Teknoloji Tesis A.S. The company provides a comprehensive portfolio of industrial products and contracting services, structured across several key business lines: Steel Structures and Towers; including high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage electricity transmission lattice towers, tubular steel monopoles, distribution poles, telecommunications and GSM towers, lighting and traffic signal masts, substation steel structures, and highway guardrails; Fasteners and Line Hardware; including high-strength industrial bolts, nuts, plain and spring washers, studs, and specialized hardware fittings for overhead transmission lines; Metal Surface Treatments; including high-capacity hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing services for heavy structural steel and fasteners; Renewable Energy Systems; including fixed-tilt and single-axis tracker steel mounting structures and foundational systems for utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants; EPC and Turnkey Contracting; including survey, civil engineering, procurement, line construction, stringing, erection, testing, and commissioning for overhead power lines, transformer substations, and regional electrical grid interconnections. SA-RA Enerji operates extensive, integrated production complexes in Ankara (Polatli) and Adana, encompassing high-capacity automated steel fabrication lines, cold-forming units, bolt manufacturing plants, and hot-dip galvanizing baths. The company serves public electricity authorities, private utility operators, renewable energy developers, telecommunications providers, and infrastructure contractors in domestic and international markets, exporting products to more than 120 countries worldwide across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and Central Asia. In major recent developments, the company completed its initial public offering (IPO) on Borsa Istanbul in July 2026, commencing trading on the BIST Stars Market under the ticker symbol SARAE. The capital raised from the public listing is allocated toward working capital expansion, balance sheet optimization, and strategic capital expenditures to upgrade and expand manufacturing capacity at its Ankara and Adana production facilities. Concurrently, the company has expanded its manufacturing footprint in solar energy mounting hardware and intensified international bidding for large-scale grid modernization and cross-border energy transmission projects.
