Business
Bonesupport Holding AB (publ) (Nasdaq Stockholm: BONEX) is a Sweden-based orthobiologics company founded in 1999 and headquartered in Lund that develops, manufactures and commercializes innovative injectable bio-ceramic bone graft substitutes based on the patented CERAMENT technology platform, which remodels to the patient's own bone within six to twelve months and elutes drugs such as antibiotics directly into bone voids; core products include CERAMENT BVF (bone void filler for trauma, revision arthroplasty and diabetic foot applications), CERAMENT G (gentamicin-eluting synthetic bone substitute for infection management), and CERAMENT V (vancomycin-eluting variant); the company serves orthopedic, trauma, spine, and infection-related surgical markets with customers including hospitals and surgeons primarily in North America (US segment), Europe and rest of world (EUROW segment including subsidiaries in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain and Italy). Products address fractures, bone voids and gaps caused by trauma, chronic osteomyelitis, disease or related surgery and are commercially available in the US, Europe, India, Malaysia, Oman and Singapore. In 2025, the company reported strong sales growth with Q3 net sales of SEK 294 million (up 24% reported, 34% at constant exchange rates) and nine-month total of SEK 862 million (up 34% reported, 41% constant exchange rates), driven by 28% US growth and new clinical evidence supporting penetration in revision arthroplasty alongside ongoing spine initiatives including recruitment of specialized distributors and regulatory preparation for CERAMENT G; Torbjörn Sköld assumed the CEO role on September 1 succeeding Emil Billbäck who transitioned to senior advisor; CERAMENT V US application transferred to FDA De Novo process for potential category-defining approval anticipated before year-end; and secured key US Medicare reimbursements via New Technology Add-On Payment and Transitional Pass-Through programs for CERAMENT G to enhance commercialization.
